Dark patches on neck

Hi. I have dark patches on my neck and this has been for almost 2 years now. At first I thought this to be a case of acanthosis nigricans but I have lost 10kg weight and still the patches are there, it gets very embarassing to go out. Please help I am 65kgs 5ft6.5
