Dark patch below knees
I have dark spot below knees...what is causing this?? suggest an appropriate line of treatment...its for my wife age-36 she is suffering & scar can be seen

It's frictional dermatitis.  Does she have history of doing floor work like cleaning the floor etc ? Is the area slightly thickened and blackened ? No need to worry, it can be treated.

Postinflammatory hyperpigmentation is a common sequelae post scarring. Medication is available to reduce the pigmentation. It can take time to reduce but can be controlled. For the scarring Lasers can be used. Consult a Dermatologist fort he same.
