Dark lips ever since birth
Hey I am a 17 year old teenager and I've had dark lips ever since I could remember. The only problems I've had with my lip is that they peel a lot. How can I lighten my lips? Or is this a symptom of some sort of disease?

Darkness in the lips might be due to increased secretion of melanin pigmentation. This can be lightened by using lasers at regular intervals. Before that we have to check the tissue biotype and medical history of the patient. Then we can arrive at the definitive treatment plan. Lip lighting can be done using lasers.

Darkening of lips is just like dark skin colour ... it is present because of excessive melanin pigmentation .... no it is not a disease .... lightening is not possible anyways ....
