Dark knuckles hands and feets
Hi Doctor, My fiancee have a problem with dark knuckles of her hands and feets. Doctor prescribed her Vit b12 + vit e + restretra hd tablets for a month. I just want to make sure that what may be the actual reason of these dark knuckles? Also is really restretra will work here? Kindly revert me asap please.

This description sounds like acanthosis nigricans. This is a condition where your skin​ folds like underarms, inner thighs or groin, neck, knucles and face becomes dark. It is either genetic or due to sedantry lifestyle and overweight. This can be treated. One of the causes of knuckle hyperpigmentation might be vit b12 deficiency.so once u get vit b12 levels test done and follow ur doctors advice depending on report
