Damaged hair shaft due to straightening
Hi I got my hair straightened 8 months back . The chemical was left on for way longer past the time limit. My new growth is now thin and damaged..I do not have any genetic issue or have any other health problem..Iam confident that the thinning is due to the straightening as there is a clear difference in the thickness of hair from the new growth alone..and the thinning is only in certain areas where she applied the cream on the scalp which is on the back..I would like to know if it is possible to repair damaged hair shafts? do hair supplements help heal hair shafts?
