Cylindrical Power and  toric lens
Hi, Few days back my father's biometry of left eye has been done for catract operation. As per the report Left eye cylindrical Power is:   - 0.85 D @ 74° For which cylindrical Power we need to use or we can use Toric lence for catract ? I think he has cylindrical Power. Could you please tell toric monofocal lens required or not in this situation? Can we use toric lens for catract operation for this case? I have heard that problem May arise if use torric lens are issues related glares , less sharp vision at night, ghost images, halos .  Are this correct? please  provide your opinion

He needs certain tests have to be done,pre cataract surgery. Pl consult ophthalmologist with detailed history and reports and treatment taken.
