Cut the tip of my finger and it's numb.
I cut my finger with a knife. The cut didn't bleed for long so I don't think it's very deep. It's on the tip of my middle finger about 5mm below the nail. The part of the flesh above the cut up to the nail is numb and a bit paler than the rest of my finger. Do you think I have damaged the digital nerve in the tip? Do go to a doctor? Or leave it be?

No, tip of the finger have plenty of nerve supply, small injury may involve small nerve fibre demage which maybe the cause of numbness, nerve fibre  will regenerate. Check your heamoglobin level.
