CT head with contrast
Can CT head with contrast detect brain tumour? My father had it 3 month ago which was fine... he had some symptoms that time which got fine on its own.. now again he has the same symptoms- head pressure and limb weakness He also has pacemaker since 5 years so he can't have MRI!!! Can u plz tell if CT with contrast can show tumour that time? Our doctor said nothin to do except giving multivitamins and muscle relaxants

Yes, CT with contrast can detect the brain lesions.. But limb weakness can be due to other causes also not only tumour.. If u have doubt u can repeat it.. Thank u

Since it's been 3 months, kindly repeat the CT with contrast (preferably with 1mm cuts). This can detect if there are any lesions in the brain.
