I have been asked by my doctor to get ct angiography but he says coz of sinus tachycardia it will become difficult to do... Taking betablockers, sedatives still cant have control on heart rate at doctor... How to manage heart rate to get Ct angio done?

Hi
No Single test is be all and end all. It's true that with fast heart rate quality of CT gets compromised. However, there are ways it can be mitigated- beta blockers on the CT table and using techniques such as retrospective gating.
Finally there are alternative tests. Consider those after discussing with your doctor.

Hi, usually heart rate wont effect ct angiogram. Plz send your ecg for complete picture of rate and rythm of your heart. Take online consultation to get a clear picture.
