CRP level at 5.2
Hi, I went for a health-checkup, and my CRP level shows as 5.20 mg/L (ref: < 5). My ESR is 5 mm/hr. My creatinine is on lower end at 0.62 mg/dL (ref: 0.80 - 1.30). My Bilirubin direct is at 0.22 mg/dL (ref : < 20). As far as symptoms go, I suffer from hives on and off, and also have been getting poor sleep for last 4 months or so. Is the CRP level something to be concerned about?

Hi CRP test is used to see levels of C- Reactive protein which measures general levels of inflammation in our body. CRP levels are borderline, but if you are still having the on and off hives alongwith and symptoms, please see a Skin Specialist. In case of further doubts, please feel free to write back to me.
