Critically low suger of my diabetic mom
Hello Sir,
My mom is diabetic from past 10 years but suddenly today her suger level drop to 40 before breakfast and after having breakfast her suger level is 169. She is taking gluconorm 1mg forte, two times a day.
So what we should do in this type of situation?

In such situations of low blood sugar ..You need to give her sugary fluids , glucose in water , orange juice ,candies immediately if she is conscious ....And after she gets stabilised ...ask her to have a good amount of snack..Review with an Endocrinologist /Physician asap for further assistance
