Creatinine Slowly Increasing
Male || 29 || 80Kg || Occasional Smoker || No other medication My serum creatinine levels are slowly creeping up over the last 1.5 years. Starting from 0.95 back in Jan 2025 to 1.2 as of yesterday. I lift heavy 5 times a week and take Creatine Monohydrate as well with high protein diet. No other supplementation. I don’t have any other flags in the overall test report, nor do I have any symptoms. LFT/ KFT/ CBC/ Sugar / Thyroid / PFT / ECG - all normal My doctor is asking for Cystatin-C and eGGR as the next steps to evaluate further on this. Can anyone pls suggest, is this gradual spike due to creatine supplementation or I have something serious going on. I am nervous.

Hello, serum creatinine varies with muscle mass, as your weight is 80kg and you are on high protein diet and creatine supplementation, serum creatinine value of 1.2 mg/dl may be normal for you, repeat serum creatinine, cue, upcr, Usg abdomen tests
