Creatinine levels query
Hi Doc,
A week ago I did a regular renal function test and had creatinine 1.4 ( lab ref 0.5-1.5). Although it's in normal range of lab but just to make sure everything is alright(since i have a high protein diet and do high intensity workout), i consulted a nephrologist. He told me to do urine routine and USG kub. Both the results were normal. My concern is that can ultrasound miss out on detecting CKD diagnosis?

USG cannot conclusively rule out CKD but overall clinical assessment may have suggested the possibilities.
Next Steps
Repeat KFT from standerd lab. (Most standerd lab have a cut off of 1.2)
