CREATININE AND BLOOD SUGAR
I am 56yrs Old male.And I have Hypertension for last 25 years and i am using medication for it .My Hypertension is normal now around 120/82..etc.But recently i have gone through routine blood tests .In my blood tests ,it showed diabetic average as 7.0. and CREATININE level of 1.6(normal 0.5-1.4) and albumin traces,i am not a diabetic before ,is it very serious for my kidneys,and could you tell me what stage of my kidneys are in.What should i do now?

U have early stages of kidney failure but nothing worrisome. U should ensure good control of blood pressure and sugar. Also see a nephrologist for the raised creatinine level
