Ask him to take Accelofenac+paracetamol or Acemiz MR twice a day for 3 days. Applying ice/hot pack with diclofenac ointmenr wikl be helpfull for immediate relief.

Take one flexon. And need rest for 2-3 days. Apply ice pack three times a day 10 min-15min everyday. Apply volini gel or diclofenac gel.
