Covid vaccination for heart patients?
My father aged 61 had angioplasty (3 stents) 70 days back as on 4 june 2021. Also he is type-2 diabetic and hypertension. He is currently on following tablets: brillinta 90mg, ecosprin 75mg, tonact 40mg, cardivas cr 10mg, ivabrad 5mg, tide plus 10mg, optinueron tablet. insulin injections: mixtard and lantus. Questions: 1) can he take COVID vaccination? 2) if yes then any precautions/stop medicine? 3) which vaccine (covaxin or covishield or Sputnik V) is better for heart patients? Thanks.
