Hi.. I was exposed to a covid positive patient on Monday. In how many days do symptoms generally start appearing? Will accordingly stay in isolation till then.

If your immunity is strong there might be changes of you may be asymptomatic after 2-3 days also. But there are chances you can infect to other people like elder one . If your immunity is not too much strong then u will get symptoms after 2-3days. That time you have to take proper medicines also isolation is important.

Usually 3 to 5 days. You may not get infected at all Or you get the infection but will not develop symptoms at all Or you may develop mild flu like illness to severe covid ( God forbid).Take measures for covid prevention. No need to isolate yourself.
Covid symptoms infection is positive from 2-3 days before symptoms show up. . In a patient.
First 7days are crucial and if there is no fever and you can get back to work taking precautions.
