Covid suspected in mother
Hi doctor,
I am having covid symptoms. I have 6 month old baby. What precautions should be taken? Can I do breastfeeding as usual? Baby is having light cough today. Please suggest

Follow covid appropriate behaviour
That is clean your hands, wear mask , only carry your child while breast feeding.
Don’t let your child to stay with others when you can take care .

Yes. You can breastfeed your baby.You need to wear mask,follow covid related hygiene precaution.
For cough I will advise you to have teleconsultation or clinical check up if possible at your nearest child clinic .
