It varies according to a persons immune response against covid. If after getting covid, a person's body forms antibody against corona, then chances are less for him to get reinfected.

Upto 3months there is a antobody against covid in patient recovered from covid infection.there is chance to reinfected by covid but due to antibody patient not going to severe disease.
If he contact with covid patient he should closely monitor his symptoms and respiratory rate
If respiratory rate above 18 he should start to take medicine
