Covid positive
Hello doctor, my father mother myself and my husband was tested positive for covid. My 3 yr old daughter is also having symptoms even though we didnt do the test.
Please help with this:
My father was having symptoms of fever with headache and tiredness for last 1 week, he took azithromycin for 5 days after consulting with doctor, now fever subsided but since 3 days he is having on n off cough while talking laughing and occasionally while sleeping. No chest pain or difficulty breathing.
He is 64 yrs old. 2 dose vaccinated.
Is his symptoms severe should we get him admitted or will this get ok with cough syrup.
Please advise.
My husband is also having same symptoms he is 33 yrs old.

For now he has on and off cough,no fever or breathlessness but you need to monitor his symptoms and vital signs like temperature, saturation,heart rate daily for atleast 14days of symptoms onset,if any worsening of symptoms or saturation drop or continuous fever spikes again then need to be admitted if required, meanwhile get blood investigations done and consult pulmonologist for further guidance for both of them
