Covid - diabetes
My father is 61 yrs old dibateic with sugar around 374 he is covid + ( 2 and half hour after dinner at 10:45 PM). Symptoms : fever, dry cough Bp is normal, current temp is 97, oxygen is 97 We are giving him paracetamol 650 along with cough syrup and mucinac. Anyways to control his sugar, gildax pm2 is the medicine we are giving him and was given around 7 Pm

dear user,  your father is diabetic and 374 is the postprandial sugar value , i.e , his sugar levels are very high he is covid positive to be frank , he falls under the high risk category. so in order to get it right. he needs be to given antivirals as soon as possible in order to stop the cycle...preferabbly in the first 5days of symptoms the tablets which u are giving are not sufficient irrespective of the oxygen saturations and temperature he needs to get admitted in the hospital if at all hospital and admission is delayed kindly get esr, crp, d dimer, ldh,rft, lft,s ferritin reports done and if possible send it me
