Covd vaccine after infection
My father 67 yr old took first vaccine covisheild on 5 march. he got infected with covid on 18 th april.. now he is negative.. when can he take second dose of vaccine? Will the first dose be still effective or should he restart with his 1st dose of vaccine?

2nd dose is to be given 4to 6 after recovery from covid-19. Covid-19 i nfection  activtae body's immune system hence actas a first dose.

He can take 2nd dose after 14 days of being negative. First dose remains effective 8-12 weeks atleast, so dont worry.
