Coughing with cough
Im a smoker i have been coughing since past a year. its not regular but sometimes i get attacks of cough. since im a smoker since 7 years i know tat coughing or haven cough all the time is normal but i dont think this time its normal. which tests should i do?

Hello. Smoking is dangerous to health and that too at such a young age. Quit it. Take justicia adhatoda Q - 10-10 drops twice a day. Do pranayam regularly.

Coughing for any person continuously isn't normal..in your case you have almost a decade of smoking history. Smoking cause decreased mucociliary function..means your airways ability to clear off secretions and mucus decreases drastically to a normal person.. Plus there is high risk of infection due to the same.. STOP SMOKING.. OR ATLEAST REDUCE AND GO TO A GRADUAL STOP..THATS THE ONLY SURESHOT TREATMENT.. You wil prevent more damage to your lungs and hence a better life..alternatively your symptoms can be of COPD.(chronic obstructive pulmonary ds)..consult a chest physician for the same..
