Cough with phlegm & right lung pain
Chain smoker for 30-years- deserted smoking from 15-yrs.Diabetic+ HTN...Treated for empyema and TB(2002)+ Aspirations done.. CT scan(6/2015)- (1).Bronchiectatic changes in basal segments of rt.Lower lobe with peribronchial thickening & mucus plugging(2) Tree in bud opacities in basal segment of rt.Lower lobe.(3) Linear atelectasis seen in Lingual (4) few small pre-vascular, pre-tracheal & aorto-pulmonary lymph nodes seen.. No significant pleural thickening/ fluid collection seen. Intermittent dry cough with Pain in chest & Dizziness, while coughing. .U/s scan- "Few Hyperechogenecity seen in Rt.lung"..Appetite normal..No weight loss/gain.

Findings r suggestive of old tb healed but do sputum for afb and tb culture to rule out active disease, if negative further treatment is based on ur symptoms...

first do sputum for AFB stain and routine culture. and if negative then pulmonary function test.
