Hello There. I can understand your concern, your symptoms are consistent with a viral infection or flu which is seasonal. do not need to worry. take steam inhalations thrice a day. drink lots of water. have a soft diet and avoid oily and spicy foods as they will further irritate your throat. do salt water gargles or butadiene throat gargles twice a day. you can take a paracetamol twice a day for controlling fever. your condition will improve on its own. if it doesn't in 3 days, consult a general physician in person for further evaluation and management. best regards, Dr. Anil kumar jain.

Hi. ...most common cause of sore throat is an viral infection, which is usually self limiting with symptomatic management.... Drink fluids. Drink plenty of water to keep the throat moist and prevent dehydration. Try comforting foods and beverage. .... Gargle saltwater. A saltwater gargle of 1 teaspoon. Gargle the solution and then spit it out...... Consider lozenges. Lozenges can soothe a sore throat......
