Cough and pain in chest
My brother recently had cough & underwent ct scan for chest with results Patchy cavitating consolidation with surrounding multiple nodules are seen in apico-posterior segment of right upper lobe. Surrounding ground glassing of lung parenchyma is seen. Foci of calcification are seen within the consolidation. Few subcentimetric lymphnodes are seen in right paratracheal, pretracheal, precarinal and aortopulmonary regions, largest measuring 5.5 mm in short axis diameter. Please suggest.

Hi. I understand your concern s. He will need to undergo a detailed examination and investigation like Bronchoscopy if sputum tests are negative. Consult a pulmonologist for the same at the earliest
