Dear sir, my wife is having a dry cough for last 4 months, we have done all the tests
and reports r normal, e&t specialist said its due to allergy, now she is having problem in swallowing food and observes pain in middle part of chest. Cough is not high but occationally. Please advise.

chest pain, difficulty in swallowing and dry cough signifies laryngopharyngeal reflux disorder or gastroesophageal reflux disorder where gastric acid spills back into food pipe and throat causing pain and cough. you can consult a gastroenterologist or ENT specialist for complete evaluation of upper digestive tract and treatment
