Hi. The medical composition of Kufril LS drops are
1. Ambroxol - used to breakdown mucus.
2. Levosalbutamol - expandes the airway (bronchi)
3. Guaiphenesin - used to clear the mucus.
These drugs should be used only when necessary. If the chest is clear as you have mentioned, there is no need for these drugs.
To tackle running nose in an infant, nebulization and saline nasal drops is usually sufficient.
Next Steps
Continue nebulization and saline nasal drops. Assess for warning signs such as fast breathing, irritable child, chest retractions etc... which indicate a worsening disease.
In case of warning signs, consult a pediatrician immediately.
