Consult physiotherapist to take treatment with electro-modalities for pain relief. After the pain subsides, do exercises to strengthen your muscles (quadriceps, hamstring, hip abductors). This will help to prevent strain on knee joint and recurrence of pain.
Health Tips
Avoid standing or walking for long duration, instead take breaks in between. Avoid crossed leg sitting, squatting and staircase climbing. If you are obese, try to reduce your weight.
