Contraceptive fill safe usage guidance
As I duscussed earlier with one of gynecologist my partner will plan to take/ use  Yasmin birth control contraceptive pills . Is it safe to have unprotected sex after 4 days of mensuration she start taking pills after 4th day of her period she is taking  1st Yasmin fill contraceptive fill after 4th day of her mensuration cycle. Is it okay to have unprotected sex after wards till this cycle when she continuing with fill regularly. Or else shall we use condom or back up for starting 7 days. Please clarify

Good evening... Yes it is safe to have unprotected intercourse after taking yasmin as it is a contraceptive..but If ur unmarried to prevent from STDs better use condom. U should take the pills regularly without missing a single day.. if missed then they will not work well as contraception.

Hi. Yes use condom for first 7 days till the effect of OCPs is established .
