Hello, Could you please help me to find a contraceptive for 5yrs? I have heard about progesterone iud. What's it's cost and side effects? Can I breast feed when I use it? What are the other iud and their costs, duration and side effects? Thank you.

Progesterone iud is called merina. Plz remember ur periods would stop completely till u have merina inside. R u ok with it. Also u may have intermittent spotting. Other option is to go for a plain multiload cu t

Hello... Well if you already have a kid and you are looking for contraception best thing would be iud only...no problem for breast feeding...well there are copper iuds available which has a life of 5-10 years... It's better you consult a gynaecologist and discuss with the doctor and go for it...all the devices are cost effective
