Continuous coughing
My 7yrs old son is facing severe and continuous coughing problem from 2days,given medicine by nearby doctor:Amoxicillin and potassium clavulanate oral suspension IP,Ascoril D.but no relief yet.pls suggest.

If there is a slight reduction in the frequency of cough you can wait for two to three more days..generally cough takes around a week to completely stop .
Next Steps
in case no reduction in cough .or  continuous fever or difficulty in breathing you need to consult a pediatrician at the earliest
