I had unprotected sex on 9 th of month , taken ipill immediately after that .periods have started on date due but very less bleeding and this continuous for a10-12 days.is it side effect of pill?

It could be either a side effect of pill or failure of pill. Do a urine pregnancy test. If its negative then nothing to be bothered of much. This spotting will settle on its own
