For an abscess which i developed on my inner vaginal lip..
My doctor gave me povidine iodine (betadine)ointment to keep bd per day.
But immediately the moment i am applying it.
I am feeling very very itchy; wired; burning; stinging sensation near the area i am applying..
Should i continue??
Is this normal if applied on abscess or i am allergic??
Should i stop?
Help
Also i feel i have developed allergic reaction in vagina due to this.. How to calm it???
Rugae like structure seen on vaginal opening.. Due to this..

We don't recommend the application of Betadine on an abscess. The treatment is entirely different.
