I have checked my power recently. I have -2.50 sph and -0 .50 cyl with 180° axis on both eyes. Since we don't get cyl power below -0.75 cyl in a lens, the shopkeeper adviced me to take -2.75 sph lens. Is that OK if I increase my power by .25 sph to compensate for -0.50cyl with 180° axis

Hello A. In one way,it is okay as the spherical equivalent is same B. Having said that,some people are very sensitive for cylindrical power..In that case you may feel some headache but otherwise it is okay to use spherical power only Regards
