Upto -3 d power of contact lens & glass is same but if power is in higher side , you should first consult ophthmologist for actual power of contact lens & training how to put inside eye & how to remove it &for certain precaution you have to take while using contact lens .

though you can purchase contact lens from optical centre also but I shall advice you to consult an ophthalmologist nearby and get prper testing and training.
