My daughter was suffering from Thromboisis and an IV filter was placed inside. She was on medication with blood thinner Pradaxa 150 mg for 6 months.
IV filter has now been removed but she has been advised to continue taking Ecospirin once a day lifetime.
She is an aspiring BAMS student and has to prick her finger for practical purpose.
Will there be any problem for pricking the finger for blood sample frequently as she is on ecospirin medication.
Alternately, now since she has no symptoms whatsoever after 3 months of taking ecospirin post iv filter removal, can she stop taking ecospirin.

As she is been advised to take ecosprin for lifetime it is better to continue it
Pricking the finger for practical purposes to collect the blood sample won't have any problem even if she is taking ecosprin regularly
Why she had thrombosis at this age , is she having any coagulation disorder, or any predisposition to have thrombosis in future.she need proper evaluation and diagnosis and review of previous treatment summary
