You need to visit an ENT physician for complete examination of the ear as trauma can result in perforation of the tympanic membrane, discontinuation of the little bones in the ear, trauma to the canal and so on. You may also need a pure tone audiometry.

Keep ear dry. No oil/water/ Ear drops to be instilled in the ear as they can carry the infection from the canal to the inner or middle ear.
