Hi.  Constipation is nearly a common problem in children. It  has many causes, Anatomical or physiological.  If anatomically theres some kind of obstruction or rectal muscle tightness then theres need to get opinion of a surgeon.  But if theres physiological problem like indigestion.  Then its need to b corrected. Constipation medicine won't work well if digestion is not good.        So avoid bakery products , biscuits, Heavy foods that causes indigestion.  Give her plenty n warm water. And most importantly do not self -medicate.
