Chronic constipation can persist even if hypothyroidism is well controlled, due to slow gut motility. Since isabgol helps you, it means your bowel is responding to fiber, and it is safe to take it regularly if needed.
Next Steps
You may continue isabgol daily, along with good hydration. If symptoms persist, a doctor can prescribe osmotic laxatives like polyethylene glycol or lactulose for better relief. Also, consider checking your TSH levels again to ensure optimal control.
Health Tips
Maintain fixed toilet timing, avoid straining, stay active, and manage stress as anxiety can worsen constipation. Consult a doctor if the problem remains persistent.

Try drinking two glasses of warm water with on empty stomach and walk for 10 minutes to improve gut motility, slowly decrease the quantity of isabgol gradually over a week before stopping it completely. It is nothing but plant fibre so replace it with legumes and high fibre diet. For further consultation, book an appointment online
