Constipation for breastfed baby
Hello, My son is 4 months old and he is only on breastfeeding. He is constipated. His stool is hard and does potty once in 3 or 4 days. My pediatrician has suggested to give sorbiline. My question here is - is my baby affected by my diet. I am a vegetarian and I have started eating pretty much everything and elders in the family says baby is constipated because of my food intake. Could you please let me know if my diet really affects the baby.

It is normal for kids not to pass stool for 5-6 days on breast feed and some kids passes 15 times a day.. and both spectrum is normal. So don't worry.
Next Steps
practice exclusive breast feeding for 6months

Once you start complementary this will get corrected, nothing to worry. Your diet won’t affect the baby, so relax
