Constant urge to swallow saliva
Since last ten days,I have developed a constant urge to swallow saliva. This happens particularly at night. Resulting in inability to sleep. I am a diabetic for over thirty years. Inability to sleep makes me feel weak during the day. Otherwise I have an active life style. I exercise regularly. My blood sugar is also under fair control.

Please get your diabetes monitoring done. It may be because of the fluctuations in your sugar levels. It's not actually to swallow saliva. It's related to more of water you're requiring. Frequent urination and urge of more water is an indication of fluctuations in diabetes. So kindly visit your physician.
