Do you also feel a burning sensation in your throat, or regurgitation after you have meals. The cause of a persistent foreign body sensation in the throat may be due to the stomach acids. For this you may have to take PPIs for at least weeks along with diet and lifestyle modification. However you must get your throat examined to rule out any other cause of this feeling.
