My brother is suffering from dry cough since 2 months, We have used azithromicin for a weak, benadryl cough syrup regularly , but It was not control till date. Can I get any prescription to treat the dry cough. He was handicapped he won't go out from home

Cough is not only due to lung infections but may also be due to Post nasal discharge in case of nasal infections or allergy second reason maybe due to reflux of assets from the stomach into the throat causing pharyngitis so need a proper history to rule out the cause of dry cough antiallergic medication should also be included
