Constant fever from 24 days

Asked for Male, 67 Years

My father's report Pus cells 30-40 hpf RBC 6-8 hpf Fever is varying between temperature( 98-99.8) from 24 days. Doctor suggested amikacin 500mg injection twice a day ,is it ok. What to do?is there anything to worry?
