Constant coughing.
Hello Doctor's, my mother is having cough since 3 months. We have tried all the test i.e. IGE level, CBC, CT scan, X-ray - for chest PA View, for sinus, PFT test, Abdominal sonography, 2D Echo (she had a past history of Minor Attack in Feb 2013) all are normal except 2D Echo which says her heart is functioning 40-45%. Doctor have recommended Anti Allergies, asthama medicine, her ongoing tablet clavix 150 AS, syrup,anti biotics, etc. Can any1 help to stop her coughing. Regards, Gaurang Thakkar

Hi. I understand your concern s. She needs to undergo a detailed examination. It could be due to poor functioning of heart as well. Consult a pulmonologist for a detailed analysis.
