Hello, Thanks for your query on Practo "As" per your clinical history is concerned you can take [CETDOM tab]every 8 hours to control vomiting as well as fever. Drink plenty of water [ORS]fluid to prevent dehydration, add anti-biotics [CIPROBID tab-500mg]twice a day for 5 days.
Next Steps
Investigations -[CBC with differential and para-check test]
Health Tips
1)Wash your hands. Thorough and frequent hand-washing is an effective way to prevent many common infections. Or use alcohol-based hand sanitizers if soap and water aren't readily available. 2)Contain your coughs and sneezes. Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough. To avoid contaminating your hands, cough or sneeze into a tissue or into the inner crook of your elbow. 3)Avoid crowds. Flu spreads easily wherever people congregate in child care centers, schools, office buildings, auditoriums and public transportation. By avoiding crowds during peak flu season, you reduce your chances of infection. And, if you're sick, stay home so that you don't infect others. Hope that helps

Kindly don't self medicate. You will require antihistamines, antacids, anti emetics and cough syrup. If you're vomiting regularly then tablets won't help and you will require an injection for proper administration of medication. These following steps may be of help: - Avoid cold food and water, preferably have hot food and water - Don't skip meals have a liquid diet containing soups and progressively increase to solid diet as per how you can tolerate. - Have food rich in vitamin C such as oranges to help build immunity. - Drink plenty of fluids, drink 3 liters of water per day - Do salt water gargling with lukewarm water thrice a day - Do steam inhalation (plain steam) thrice a day and apply vaporub over your chest and nose - Maintain good personal hygiene(Wash you hands regularly) - Rest plenty, body heals while at rest If the condition persists or worsens visit nearest ER at earliest
