Considerable decrease in food intake
My dad is diabetic and hypertensive for 10 years and on regular treatment...until 3 months back he was normally eating...For past 3 months he feels difficulty in swallowing food as he feels it gets struck in the food tube and slowly gets in... And every morning when he wakes up he has a feel of so much of secretions in the throat...Recently he changed the diabetic consultant and whole brand of drugs and dosages have changed...From that day his food intake has markedly reduced...How to sort this out?

Hi! I’m really sorry to hear this. The problem isn’t related to diabetes or medication. He needs an urgent endoscopy to rule out cancer in the esophagus.
