Been having irritation in the eyes since yesterday, reddish right eye, woke up with a sticky eye in the morning.

It seems to be conjunctivitis. Please share a close up pic of your eyes with detailed information about discharge redness watering pain swelling itching and blurring of vision or consult an ophthalmologist nearby.

Your symptoms are suggestive of conjunctivitis
Try
A cold compresses
B use antibiotic eyedrop like moxifloxacin 6times daily along with lubricating eyedrop frequently like refresh tears
C. Soft steroid like fluorometholone can be used in severe cases
