Congenital Nystagmus
Sir my daughter is suffering from Nystagmus from her birth. Her eye balls move very fast left Wright like pendulum when she looks any object she tilts her head too. Sir I need to know how can this be cure and can improve as sometimes it looks very bad when she tilts her head to look any object.. Kindly please suggest how can improve from this problem.

hello a. there are many causes of nystagmus b. it is difficult to comment without examining her c. kindly consult local paediatric ophthalmologist

So far I know there is no cure for congenital nystagmus but sometimes there is normal vision, only problem remains with patients,not able to fix eye on single point ,therefore not able to pursue professional courses, first get eye checked up  for refraction if any.you can consult ophthmologist & neurologist for further opinion.

Hi there I understand your concern and anxiety....Most of the tines congenital nystagmus is because of vision related problem so your kid needs detailed evaluation and examination...so I would suggest you to consult nearest pediatric opthalmologist for further necessary treatment... Regards.
